Project Overview

Being in the heart of Silicon Valley, it’s important that our campus spaces reflect the technology-driven ethos of the region and that our students are prepared for tomorrow’s careers. In fall 2024, President Teniente-Matson announced that we will be assessing and developing a plan to upgrade our classrooms and future-proof our technology. Our university will be creating a strategy roadmap based on the needs of our students, faculty, and staff in classrooms and all teaching and learning spaces across our campus. We must equip our university learning spaces to empower the education experiences of future pedagogies.

Classroom Upgrades FY24-25

Working alongside Academic Affairs, 菠菜网lol正规平台 IT is identifying 10 classrooms to implement a preliminary "minimum viable classroom" technology standard. Completion for these technology upgrades is targeted for the start of Fall 2025. Our focus is on high impact and high utilization learning spaces to maximize early efforts.

Deloitte Engagement

The Learning Space Upgrade and Academic Technology Strategy (LSUATS) initiative began with a 10-week project, launched in September 2024 and concluding in November 2024. Deloitte collaborated with students, faculty, staff, stakeholders, and pedagogy experts to conduct a thorough current state assessment, develop a strategic vision and plan for the future, and create a multi-year implementation roadmap.
